Will a Travel eSIM Work on My Phone?
Most phones made in the last few years support eSIM.
Here is how to check yours in 30 seconds.
Open your phone dialer and type *#06#. If you see an EID number, your phone supports eSIM.
On iPhone, go to Settings, then Mobile Data, and look for Add eSIM. On Android, go to Settings, then Network, and look for Add eSIM or SIM Manager.
Your phone needs to be carrier unlocked to use a travel eSIM. If you bought it outright or finished your contract, it is almost always unlocked.
